Classroom Management
Steering Towards Structure, Support, and Student Engagement💪
For classroom management, I always ensured to create an organized classroom that fosters a positive and productive learning environment. I established clear routines and expectations, helping students feel comfortable and confident in their learning space. I ask them to arrange their seats before we start our class, which helps maintain order and encourages a sense of responsibility. I also allow them to place items like fans, pens, or notebooks on their tables, as long as these items are not distracting and contribute to their comfort. In terms of using headphones, I permit them during specific times, particularly when they are needed for research or educational purposes. Also, I always make sure to ask my students how they are doing, as it helps foster a supportive and welcoming environment for learning. Additionally, I consistently used positive reinforcement to recognize good behavior and provided gentle reminders when necessary, ensuring a respectful and focused atmosphere throughout the lesson. This approach helps cultivate an environment where students can thrive and feel supported.
For my final demo, I also prepared some small rewards for the students as part of my positive reinforcement strategy. These prizes were intended to encourage participation and acknowledge their efforts. By offering these rewards, I aimed to motivate the students and create a fun, engaging atmosphere while reinforcing the desired behaviors and contributions during the lesson. This not only made the lesson more interactive but also allowed students to feel recognized for their hard work and positive attitude.

Overall, this experience was a great adventure that taught me just how essential classroom management is. It also gave me plenty of new tools and tricks to keep the classroom running smoothly while making learning fun and engaging for everyone!
